Autumn in Yellowstone | West Thumb Geyser Basin | Photography Blog

Having quick access to one of the most popular national parks in America may seem like a blessing, and it is, but with the summer crowds invading like a swarm of biblical locusts, I tend to stay as far away as I can. You'll normally find me wandering around Yellowstone National Park when it first opens, or towards the end of the season. April of 2022 was the last time I visited, and with a weekend finally to myself, I decided to venture in to see what I could find. The first day of Autumn had arrived, and while the colorful sunrise I had hoped for didn't appear, the moody backdrop made for some fantastic captures.
