Landscape Memoirs
Welcome to my landscape photography blog, where photos and words come together into a beautiful symphony of creation. Am I writer, or am I photographer? I guess you could say that I’m both, but at the end of the day I’d like to think that I’m just a creator. Below you’ll find musings, photographs, heartfelt words, and more. Enjoy!
On The Road Again | Gordon Creek, Utah | Utah Landscape Photography
Willie Nelson once sang, or I guess continues to sing at the tender age of 91, "On the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again!" After a rather dull and uneventful six month snow plowing season compared to 2023, I eagerly awaited May the first, when once again I'd be hitting the open road. No stranger to the highways that criss cross the United States, my plan was to spend a week in Sedona, Arizona, after a quick overnighter in Carbon County, Utah.
Livingston to Bozeman by Train | Train Photography Prints | Railroad Photography
What's more freeing than the thought of hopping on a freight train and traveling across the United States of America? Recently I took my camera down to Livingston, Montana for a project that I've been wanting to work on for some time.
Two Medicine Glacier National Park | Montana Landscape Photography | Blogs About Life Experiences
Glacier National Park enticed 2.91 million visitors in 2022 to enter its wild and mythical landscape. When I first moved to Montana in the Spring of 2021, I lived a fews hours south of the West Glacier entrance. I visited the park on a crisp May day, and while the interior of the park remained closed, I did catch a glimpse of what it had to offer. Fast forward to April of 2023, when I decided to take a few days off to visit the East entrance of the park. Even though I knew the interior was once again closed due to winter conditions, I wanted what little of the park I knew I could access to myself.
